New York lawmakers are closing in on their entry into the casino gambling industry, and the latest proposal comes courtesy of a state senator that wants to bring a casino to Long Island.

Pennsylvania has become the second-largest gaming state in the country, and its cities are now starting to be recognized as being top gaming destinations as well.

New Hampshire lawmakers indicated this week that they would be open to authorizing the states first casino, but the concession would come at the expense of higher taxes on the gaming.
